ProView – Chaco Men’s Rapid Pro Flip Review

The Chaco Rapid Pro Men’s Flip Flops stand out from standard summer sandals with a blend of durability, grip, and comfort that makes them feel like true river-ready sandals. They’re designed to handle slippery rocks, wet trails, and long days outside on the water. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the footbed runs a bit narrow for my foot, which may be something to consider if you need extra width. Overall though, these flip flops have proven to be a reliable piece of footwear for river and lake days.

I was able to put the Rapid Pros to the test on most of my summer outings. Many of them were fishing trips around Colorado. The Vibram grip was immediately noticeable. With it being summertime, I was wet wading, so it was nice having a solid footing when walking in and around the river. Even after hours of being wet, they dried quickly and didn’t rub or cause discomfort. I also spent some days on my SUP, and they were a perfect choice for lake days given their ability to float.
