Are you looking for a great all around travel bag? Look no further than the Supply Duffel bag from Gregory. It is perfect for the weekend get away or an everyday gear bag. Lightweight, durable, and comfortable are the first words that come to mind when thinking about this well-designed travel companion. Duffel bags are always appealing with their versatility and size, making it the ideal bag to bring with you on your many adventures from rafting to a simple trip visiting the family. The shoulder straps make it very easy to transport no matter the use, making this easily my go-to bag for any overnight trip. I personally used it as an extra gear bag on rafting trips as well as a 5-day getaway via plane and it held up in both scenarios wonderfully. For the rafting trips it spent many an hour riding in the bed of my truck on a dusty river road and managed to keep everything dust free and dry, and then had plenty of room for 5 days of clothing while still being easy to carry through an airport and store above the seat in the cabin. This multifaceted bag is perfect for whatever escapade you decide on. 

Capacity, Fit, and Comfort

The Gregory Supply duffel bag comes in six different sizes for your convenience. The bigger the bag the more gear storage. I used the 40 liter which was perfect for my excursions. The shoulder straps were easy to find and get situated. It is very comfortable while using it as a backpack for short distances. I would not recommend using this for long hauls. 

Look/Style

I picked a bright color so it would stand out and I didn’t have a duffel in the pelican blue color. The look made it stick out in a crowd, which is beneficial in airports. The style was nice, making it comfortable and nice to look at. 

Features

The Gregory Supply duffel is loaded with features. It’s made out of heavy-duty, blended recycled polyester ripstop fabric with C0 DWR: designed without PFAS. It comes with tuck-away padded shoulder straps that let you carry the duffel like a backpack for those long hauls, and can be stored away when you’re using it as a duffel. A packable design that stuffs into a zippered pocket for a smaller footprint when not in use or when you need just a little extra space for the trip back. A zipper locking system that uses a D-ring at the end of the zipper to secure the zipper and prevent unwanted access. There is a dual layer bottom that provides added abrasion resistance and durability.

Function/Performance

The Gregory Supply duffel delivered on everything I needed it for. This duffel is very well built, as I threw it all over the bed of the truck and ground and can’t tell it got abused. It kept everything in the bag dry and dust free. The zipper worked flawlessly, even after a wet, dusty drive. 

The next weekend I used it for a plane ride up to MT and it fit everything I needed for a five day trip. It was comfortable while I was walking through the airport and fit perfectly in the overhead storage bin. 

Final Thoughts

The Gregory Duffel 40 liter is the perfect size for gear storage or a quick weekend trip. The shoulder straps make it easy to carry around an airport, or the campsite. The spacious design makes it  for easy packing and finding something quick. There are no limits for use when it comes to this duffel. You can tell it’s Gregory.
