Where are you based?
I am based out of Chickaloon, Alaska.
What are your favorite outdoor sports?
Climbing, skiing and flying.
What’s your career now and what inspired you to go after it?
Heli Ski Guide, inspired by the World Extreme Ski Competition in the early 90’s.
Tell us about one of your best days on the job:
Best day on the job was flying with my good friend, Cab to a peak far away with some of my favorite guests. There was the anticipation of going to the unknown and then being dropped on a tiny summit for over an hour waiting for the other guides to back me up, and then I skied one of the best runs of my life!
What’s the best thing about working in the Outdoor Industry?
The best thing about outdoor industry work is…. you’re outdoors!
What’s one of your bucket list items?
I would like to jump El Cap!
What pieces of gear do you love right now and would recommend to others?
My favorite gear item this year is the SteriPen Ultra! We bought it on Outdoor Prolink and drank lots of potentially cow and burro poop contaminated water in the backcountry with no issues!
