Grips- These grips are made of cork. I like the smoothness of the cork and the fact that on my Moab hike they didn’t absorb the sweat and I had no signs of chafing. While skinning up to the glacier I did notice that my other rubber grips insulated slightly better but not a reason not to get these.
Aluminum-For being made out of aluminum the weight was awesome and took a couple solid dingers without breaking.
Telescoping/adjustability- These are really straightforward and easy to adjust and they even put little markers the pole for size and where to stop. I really appreciated the lower grip for skinning. Things to be aware of though is that once you find your height you need to not just close the clamp but tighten the bolt on them as well. Otherwise you will adjust and then put weight on them and they will slip. At the end of the day on the hut trip they had slipped a very micro bit but I was also pushing the max load weight. (over by 5lbs)
Rubber Tip- The removable rubber tip was nice on slick rock and storage
Snow/Hiking Baskets- I was stoked when I found that there were removable baskets. I had no problem with them breaking although it would be interesting to see if the plastic wears down after more than one season affecting the locking mechanism. They did great though for the long treks in all kinds of snow conditions from slush to fairy dust to hard pack.
