ProView – Superfeet Work Slim-Fit Cushion Review

I’m used to working long hours on my feet. I worked as a teacher, server, and barista. More recently, I have been working as a ski patroller and am returning to school to obtain my nursing degree. All require being on your feet for extended periods of time, and I have paid the price in my physical health because of it. Consistent back pain, hips sore, feet aching. I get home from a long shift and plop myself on the couch. Despite my endless to-do list that lurks, I can’t get up because of the aches and pains.

Summary

For long days on your feet, look no further than the Super Feet Work Cushion.  They are affordable and easy to transition between any shoe while providing extra comfort and support during those long working hours without any heavy weight added.  The insoles are easy to cut, fit any type of shoe, and are built to last.  If you have a very narrow foot, these may not be narrow enough for you, but most likely could be cut down to make it better.

Cons

  • Not true “slim” fit

Thankfully, I found an affordable, convenient, and comfortable option that allows me to walk in stride with no lingering pain and soreness: Superfeet Work Slim-Fit Cushion. Most of my time is spent in either stiff ski boots for 10 hours or sneakers during my 12-hour clinical shifts. At least on ski patrol my feet go numb so I don’t feel the pain so much! However, a clinical shift is a different challenge. I have been using the Super Feet Work Cushion for over a month and have significantly noticed a change in my soreness and energy level not only at the hospital, but also once I get home from clinical.

Sizing

The ease at which I can use these has changed not only clinical but also other areas of my life. I really enjoyed how there is a foot size range for the product you purchase. I wear a Men’s 10, and ordered 9.5-11. There is extra cushion at the toes, but instructions are provided on how to remove the excess with a marker and scissors. As long as you can trace and cut along a line then you’re good to go. There was no jeopardizing the durability of the product either. They are advertised as for work and roomy boots; however, I found them to be even more versatile!

Fit

When working at the hospital, I use athletic shoes. I adjusted these insoles to best fit into my athletic shoes, and it still works great. Because I did not remove my old insoles (they’re sewn into place) I just placed these on top. There is still plenty of room in my shoe, but I did notice my foot fitting a bit tighter. Easy fix was adjusting my shoe strings. I almost felt like I was bouncy because of the added durability and cushion the insoles provide. Living in Utah, the weather can be unpredictable at times, so you never know when you’ll need muck boots or athletic shoes when walking outside.

I’ve had a pair of heavy duty muck boots for years. What little support they do have is gone because they have been packed down over the years of wear and tear. I decided to throw the Super Feet Work Cushion into them, and it changed everything! The boots fit better, and I don’t get any soreness if I wear them for a long period of time. I had contemplated getting a new pair of boots because of them being packed out, but the Super Feet just saved me even more money by providing that support and fit that I had been missing.

Versitility

I was still curious about their versatility, so I brought the Super Feet Work Cushion on vacation with me. When I’m on vacation, I mostly run as a workout for ease and also a chance to slow down and take in the sites. My running shoes are also old, packed out, and have little tread on the soles. My shins hate me even after a 2 mile run with them. I should have retired them a while ago, but they’re still in “good condition,” so I continue to hoard them. Again, the Super Feet Work Cushion was a game changer! I slid the insoles in and felt like I was running on a cloud. I really could feel the cushion they provide and the additional arch support without adding too much “additional weight” to my shoes. My runs were so much more pleasant and, again, I had no soreness after!

The Final Word

I’m extremely happy with the Super Feet Work Cushion and would recommend it to everyone who needs some additional support but does not want to pay big bills for custom orthotics. The insoles are comfortable, durable, easy to adjust, and versatile for any type of shoe.  I had the slim-fit version, which I found fits my foot well, but my foot is between slim/normal.  If you have an extremely narrow foot, this may be wide; however, I think the insoles could be trimmed down to still fit your foot.
