ProView – ENO Parklite Hammock Chair Stand Review

I was not quite sure what to expect when I received the ENO Parklite Hammock Chair Stand. I have had ENO hammocks before and have loved them. In college they would withstand the Maine winters being tired up on the trees outside the dorms. I can attest that their durability is as good as every and I am a big fan of their recent colorways. As for the hammock chair, I honestly have been really enjoying this product. I am one of the head alpine ski coaches at Snowy Range and have taken it to the mountain a bunch of days so far. I really like that I can have it assembled and just pull it in and out of my car for easy access. That being said, setting it up for the first time took under 30 seconds. It seriously could not be easier.

Summary

I would recommend the ENO Parklite hammock Chair Stand as it makes hammocking possible without trees and can be used in multiple settings for recreation. I have been loving its inside capabilities and am excited to be able to move it into my little treeless yard this spring. I am also stoked to bring it with me to away races so that I have a really easy option for getting ready.

Overall
4.5

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Comfortable
  • Adjustable

Cons

  • Could be inconvenient

Ease of Use

This product is extremely easy to put together and take apart which makes using it on a daily basis that much easier. I have had light camp chairs such as the Wondery camp chair, but the ENO hammock chair is significantly easier and faster to put together. The hammock chair is much more spacious than normal campchairs and I was even able to share it with a friend!

Performance

It is truly lightweight and easy to carry, however due to its bulkiness I am not really sure what scenarios besides getting ready in the parking lot or car camping you would really use it for. This is definitely a luxury piece of gear — if you are someone that brings a large camp chair places this could absolutely replace that. It is definitely much lighter than any camp chairs I have and personally I find it much more enjoyable to curl up in a hammock than to sit in a chair. The hammock and the chair stand are both built incredibly well and feel extremely durable.

Friendliness to Earth

ENO has an impressive commitment to the environment so they are continuously redefining their processes, programs, and partnerships to ensure quality and comfort while leaving as minimal of a trace as possible. They use bluesign approved materials that meet strict safety and environmental requirements. Additionally, 1% of their sales supports nonprofits that are focused on environmental solutions!

The Final Word

While I may not have found a ton of diverse uses for this chair outside, I have loved the times I have found to use it outdoors and am excited to continue to test this chair camping this summer! I just moved into a new house and have LOVED having this hammock inside. It is such a renter friendly way to have a hammock in your house. I am someone that loves to have different comfortable places to sit and the ENO hammock chair has become my absolute go to. Additionally, I host girls night for the University of Wyoming Nordic Team I compete with and all of my friends always jump for the hammock chair first! It is certainly a crowd pleaser.
