ProView – Pachamama CBD Pain Cream

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had shoulder and low back pain. The lower back pain stems from a torn disc back in 2016, but I’ve never been quite sure what the deal was with my shoulder. It’s tight after a long day on the trail, as well as a moderate day sitting at my desk. When I was given the opportunity to try out the Pachamama Pain Cream, I didn’t think twice. It came with really awesome info pamphlets that described what it is to be used for, how it works in your body, and more general information about Pachamama as a brand. I found that to be super helpful, as I’m not super familiar with different kinds of CBD lotions.

Summary

It was much bigger than I anticipated! Awesome for sore muscles from sitting at a desk or after a long bike ride. I love Pachamama’s branding and design- the product came with a lot of really useful information included.

Overall
4.7

Pros

  • Large size
  • Compact enough to carry on the trail easily
  • Works quickly and efficiently
  • The smell is minty and not overpowering like some other lotions I’ve tried.

Cons

  • This lotion isn’t waterproof, so careful not to dunk before you’ve given it time to absorb. Otherwise, it won’t be able to do its thing!

When I first received the cream it was still quarantine, so there was a period of time when I was using it almost every day for general aches and pains not related to recreational activities. It worked almost instantly and gave me relief over a period of a couple of hours. They recommend reapplying up to four times a day as necessary. I don’t think I’ve ever needed to reapply that many times.

Features

Once we transitioned into the phased opening of Colorado and I was able to resume frequent outings, this product became a staple in my fanny pack (another product that I recommend every human being invests in- it’s worth it). I won’t bike, hike, or trail run without it, just in case. It’s awesome self-care for quick water and snack breaks. After doing some reading, I started using it on bruises as well, and it was awesome. For someone who bruises easily and tends to go OTB (over the bar) more often than not, this was a great addition for me.

Pachamama

Ingredients

This product absolutely met and exceeded my expectations. The bottle was larger than I anticipated, and a little really does go a long way. The CBD pain cream is made with Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract, Menthol, Frankincense Oil, Copaiba Balsam Oil, MSM, Capsaicin, Arnica Flower Extract, and Eucalyptus Leaf Essential Oil. It has a nice minty scent and it leaves you feeling moisturized (even though pain management is the first objective).

The Final Word

Pachamama sent a series of samples with this product, and I loved testing those out and seeing what paired best. The pain cream goes great with the athletic rub, and I would recommend using both if you have the option! This pain cream lives up to the hype and will last me a very long time. It is absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend it!
